Cheating in multi-player online games, ruins the game?

My opinion is that if you cheat at a game which gives you no real life reward (i.e. no money or anything) then you’re not only a dirty cheater, you’re fucking sad. I like gaming when it’s fair. I recommend you get a PS3. The PSN network, while free, is strict on cheaters. In Motorstorm they had an infinate boost glitch, they fixed that in a patch. In Resistance you get banned fast if you glitch or cheat. And I’m sure they’ll fix the team killing problem (only happened to me a couple of times) in Warhawk. LOL and Host isn’t cheating, it’s just being a retard. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been kicked from a player hosted server for owning the host too much.

I never even knew there was multiplayer games that have cheats I thought online multiplayer games are meant to be played the fai way. The only cheats I know in online gaming world are the bots…..

Yes it’s BS, but if you keep playing once you know ppl are cheating, you are letting them get away with it. Move on to another game/room, and let those ppl end up (eventually) in rooms by themselves, with no one to worship them. Seriously, it works!

well i think that the people who make these games and the people who make the machine they are played on (360, PC etc) are trying to prevent people cheating.
you have picked some old-ish games, newer games have more protection from cheats.
my view on this is that they can cheat when there not online but when they are and they cheat it’s just (angry word here) annoying.
